Weatherproof
Oceania Sun Lounges are designed with the option to have fully shuttered sides and doors, giving the interior of the building protection in poor weather conditions. Each sun lounge is made individually and you have the flexibility to choose any configuration of cedar or glass paneling. Each shutter is fitted with a draft-proof seal to protect against water ingress and prevailing winds. There are four roof options of cedar shingles, 6mm toughened (tinted) self cleaning safety glass, Tapco slates or a combination of glass, shingles or rubber slate. A shingled roof requires very low maintenance due to the high natural concentration of preservatives and therefore boasts a long lifespan. A shingled roof is regarded as a very resilient roofing option and will withstand strong wind forces and heavy rainfall. The 6mm toughened glass is firmly secured by aluminum capping for a maintenance free roof against a rubber gasket, which seals the underside of the glazing achieving high storm and wind-proof standards. The Tapco slate gives you the beauty and elegance of natural slate combined with modern-day style. It is lightweight, has been tested to BBA standards, including fire rating, wind, driven snow and rain, and water absorption. It will not crack, split or break.
Ready for Winter
The heaters installed in our sun lounges are designed to produce instant heat at the flick of a switch. As the heaters are powered by electricity, there are none of the dangers associated with conventional outdoor gas-powered heaters and run no risk of running empty either. The stainless steel heaters have two heat settings, offering the option of an extra boost for the coldest of winter days.
Secure and Safe
Each sun lounge is designed to be secure with lock and key access. This means a sun lounge can be left set up ready for use at short notice, with no trips around your property gathering together cushions and other furnishings. Each piece of glass we fit in the side of the building is 4mm toughened safety and therefore much less vulnerable to breakage.
